Oracy:

Our main oral activity this term has been to prepare a 'show and tell' presentation in front of the whole class, based on one of our hobbies or interests. We had a great time doing this and we learnt lots of new things about each other. We were able to bring in some props from home to help us with our presentation.

Mia had told us of her passion for gardening. She showed us how to carefully plant a seed and what was needed for it to grow. She also showed us pictures of her favourite flowers and plants which she has grown at home.

Sam described to us about Judo. He showed us his Judo kit and explained what the different belts mean.

READING

We all enjoy reading, both in school and at home. We have access to a library within our classroom which has both English and Welsh books available to us.

WRITING

We practice our writing in different ways within class. We sometimes have handwriting practice lessons. During this time we learn how to join letters together to form cursive writing. White boards are also available for us so that we can practice and then rub out our words to write them again.
